    Description

Nuromol Dual Action Pain Relief 200mg/500mg – 12 Tablets

Nuromol Dual Action Pain Relief tablets combine two trusted painkillers — ibuprofen and paracetamol — to provide effective relief from a range of painful conditions. They are used to treat headaches, migraines, toothache, period pain, muscular aches, and fever.

    How It Works

Nuromol contains two active ingredients that work in different ways to tackle pain. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces inflammation and pain signals in the body, while paracetamol works centrally in the brain to block pain messages. Together, they provide a stronger, dual-action effect compared to either ingredient alone.

    Directions for Use

Adults and young people aged 18 and over: take 1 to 2 tablets every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Do not take more than 3 tablets (600mg ibuprofen / 1500mg paracetamol) in any 24-hour period. Swallow the tablets whole with a full glass of water, preferably with food or milk to reduce the chance of stomach upset. Do not use for more than 3 days without speaking to a doctor. Nuromol is not suitable for children under 18. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Active Ingredients

    • Ibuprofen 200mg per tablet
    • Paracetamol 500mg per tablet

    Possible Side Effects

    • Stomach upset, nausea, or indigestion
    • Headache or dizziness
    • Skin rash or itching
    • Heartburn or stomach pain
    • Fluid retention (swelling of the hands, ankles, or feet)
    • Increased blood pressure (with prolonged use)

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

    • People who are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol, aspirin, or other NSAIDs
    • Anyone who has previously had a stomach ulcer, stomach bleeding, or perforation
    • People with severe kidney, liver, or heart failure
    • Those in the last three months of pregnancy
    • Children and young people under 18 years of age
    • Anyone already taking other medicines containing paracetamol or ibuprofen

    Interactions

Nuromol may interact with a number of medicines, including blood thinners (e.g. warfarin), aspirin, other NSAIDs, certain antidepressants, blood pressure medicines, steroids, and medicines used to treat epilepsy. Because it contains paracetamol, do not take it alongside any other paracetamol-containing products such as cold and flu remedies. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Ibuprofen should not be taken during the last three months of pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby. Its use during early pregnancy should be avoided unless advised by a doctor. Paracetamol is generally considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding at recommended doses, but the combination product Nuromol has not been specifically studied in these situations. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.

    Alcohol

You should avoid or limit alcohol whilst taking Nuromol. Drinking alcohol alongside ibuprofen increases the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding, while combining alcohol with paracetamol can increase the risk of liver damage. If you regularly drink large amounts of alcohol, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist before taking this medicine.

    Driving and Operating Machinery

Nuromol does not generally cause drowsiness and is not expected to affect your ability to drive or use machinery. However, if you experience dizziness or any other side effects that may impair your reactions, you should avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until these effects have passed.

    Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
