Description
Bronchostop Cough Syrup – 200ml
Bronchostop Cough Syrup is a traditional herbal remedy used to relieve both dry and chesty coughs in adults and children aged 12 and over. It helps to soothe throat irritation and ease the discomfort associated with coughs linked to colds and flu.
⸻
How It Works
Bronchostop contains two herbal ingredients — marshmallow root and thyme — that work together to calm and soothe the throat. Marshmallow root forms a protective coating along the throat lining to reduce irritation, while thyme has natural properties that help to loosen mucus, making it easier to clear from the airways.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 and over should take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) up to 6 times daily. The syrup can be taken directly or diluted in a little warm water. It is not recommended for children under 12 years of age — Bronchostop Junior is available as a suitable alternative for children aged 1 to 12. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
⸻
Active Ingredients
• Marshmallow root dry extract (Althaea officinalis) — 160 mg per 15 ml dose
• Thyme herb dry extract (Thymus vulgaris) — 45 mg per 15 ml dose
⸻

Interactions
