Paracetamol 500mg Effervescent Tablets 24 Pack (Brand May Vary)

Paracetamol 500mg Effervescent Tablets provide fast, effective relief from mild to moderate pain and fever. These convenient effervescent tablets dissolve quickly in water to create a pleasant-tasting drink that’s gentle on the stomach. Each tablet contains 500mg of paracetamol, making it suitable for adults and children over 16 years. The effervescent formulation may provide faster absorption compared to standard tablets, helping you get back to feeling your best more quickly.

    How It Works

Paracetamol works by blocking the production of prostaglandins in the brain and spinal cord. Prostaglandins are chemicals that cause pain and inflammation. By reducing their production, paracetamol effectively relieves pain and reduces fever. The effervescent formulation allows the medicine to be absorbed more quickly into your system, as the paracetamol is already dissolved when you take it.

    Directions for Use

Adults and children over 16 years: Dissolve 1-2 tablets in a glass of water (at least 150ml) and drink immediately. Take every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Children under 16 years: Not suitable. Use a paracetamol product specifically designed for children.

Always leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed the stated dose or take for more than 3 days without consulting a healthcare professional. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice.

    Active Ingredients

    Each effervescent tablet contains:

    • Paracetamol 500mg

The tablets also contain other ingredients including sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, and sodium carbonate which help the tablet dissolve and may contain flavourings to improve taste. Please check the packaging for a full list of ingredients, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.
