Description
Migraleve Pink – 24 Tablets
Migraleve Pink tablets are a specially formulated medicine designed to relieve the pain, nausea, and vomiting associated with migraines and migraine headaches. Each pack contains 24 pink tablets, providing effective relief when you need it most.
⸻
How It Works
Migraleve Pink contains three active ingredients that work together to tackle migraine symptoms. Paracetamol reduces pain and fever, codeine phosphate is an opioid pain reliever that provides stronger pain relief for more intense migraine pain, and buclizine hydrochloride is an antihistamine that helps to ease the nausea and vomiting that often accompany migraines. Together, these ingredients offer comprehensive relief from the multiple symptoms of a migraine attack.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 16 and over should take 2 pink tablets at the first sign of a migraine. If symptoms persist, up to 2 more tablets may be taken every 4 hours, but do not exceed 8 tablets in any 24-hour period. This medicine is not suitable for children under 16 years of age. Do not use for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

• People with severe liver or kidney problems

⸻
Interactions
Migraleve Pink may interact with other medicines, including other paracetamol-containing products, other opioid painkillers, sedatives or sleeping tablets, antidepressants (including MAOIs), anticoagulants such as warfarin, and medicines used to treat epilepsy. Taking this medicine alongside other products containing codeine or paracetamol may increase the risk of side effects and overdose. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Migraleve Pink is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Codeine passes into breast milk and can be harmful to a baby, particularly if the mother is an ultra-rapid metaboliser of codeine. Paracetamol alone is generally considered safer during pregnancy, but the combination of ingredients in Migraleve Pink makes it unsuitable without medical supervision. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
You should avoid drinking alcohol while taking Migraleve Pink. Both codeine and alcohol have sedative effects on the central nervous system, and combining them can increase the risk of excessive drowsiness, dizziness, and other serious side effects. Alcohol can also increase the risk of liver damage when taken with paracetamol, especially at higher doses.
⸻
Driving and Operating Machinery
Migraleve Pink may cause drowsiness, dizziness, and blurred vision, particularly due to the codeine and buclizine content. You should not drive or operate machinery if you are affected in this way. The drowsiness effect may be made worse if you also consume alcohol or take other sedating medicines.
⸻
Storage
Store Migraleve Pink below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
