Hydrogen Peroxide Solution 6% (20 Volumes) is an antiseptic and disinfecting solution. It is commonly used for cleaning and disinfecting minor wounds, and as a bleaching or cleaning agent. This is a stronger concentration than the 3% solution and should be used with care.

How It Works

Hydrogen peroxide works by releasing oxygen when it comes into contact with skin or tissue. This oxidising action kills bacteria and helps to clean wounds by lifting debris and dead tissue. The 6% concentration provides a stronger antiseptic effect than the 3% solution.

Directions for Use

For wound cleaning: dilute with an equal amount of water before applying to the skin. Apply using cotton wool or gauze. For disinfecting surfaces or equipment: use undiluted. Do not use undiluted on skin. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes, clothing and fabrics as it may cause bleaching. If you are unsure how to use this product, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
