Germoloids Cream is used to relieve the discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles) and other anal conditions, including itching, soreness, and irritation around the back passage. It is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over.

How It Works

Germoloids Cream contains two active ingredients that work together to provide relief. Zinc oxide acts as a soothing and protective barrier on the skin, helping to reduce irritation and inflammation. Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic that temporarily numbs the affected area, providing fast relief from pain and itching.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 12 and over: Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area up to four times daily, including after each bowel movement. Wash your hands before and after applying the cream. Do not use for longer than 7 days without consulting your doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Possible Side Effects

• Skin irritation or redness at the site of application
• Allergic skin reactions such as rash or itching
• Worsening of symptoms in rare cases

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 12 years of age
• People with a known allergy to lidocaine, other local anaesthetics, zinc oxide, or any other ingredient in the cream
• People with infected haemorrhoids or broken skin around the affected area (unless advised by a doctor)
• If you have been told by a doctor not to use local anaesthetic products

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
