    Eurax Cream – 30g

Eurax Cream is an antipruritic (anti-itch) cream used to relieve itching and discomfort caused by a range of skin conditions, including insect bites, nettle rash, heat rash, sunburn, eczema, dermatitis, and chickenpox.

    How It Works

The active ingredient, crotamiton, works by producing a mild cooling and counterirritant effect on the skin, which helps to reduce the sensation of itching. It is applied directly to the affected area and begins to relieve discomfort relatively quickly after application.

    Directions for Use

For adults and children aged 3 years and over, apply Eurax Cream to the affected area and massage in gently. You can apply the cream two to three times daily as needed. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and broken or inflamed skin. Do not use on children under 3 years of age without medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Active Ingredients

    • Crotamiton 10% w/w

    Possible Side Effects

    • Skin irritation at the site of application
    • Redness or rash

    • Do not use near the eyes or mucous membranes
    • Do not use on children under 3 years of age without medical supervision

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

There is limited data on the use of crotamiton during pregnancy and breastfeeding. As a precaution, avoid applying the cream to large areas of the body or for prolonged periods during pregnancy. If breastfeeding, do not apply to the breast or nipple area. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
