Description
Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream 0.05% – 15g
Eumovate Eczema & Dermatitis Cream contains clobetasone butyrate 0.05%, a mild topical corticosteroid used to relieve the symptoms of eczema and dermatitis, including itching, redness, and inflammation during flare-ups.
⸻
How It Works
Clobetasone butyrate belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids (steroids). It works by reducing inflammation in the skin, which helps to calm redness, swelling, and itching caused by eczema or dermatitis. By reducing inflammation, it also helps to break the itch-scratch cycle that can make skin conditions worse.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area up to four times daily. Use the smallest amount needed to control symptoms, and avoid applying to the face unless directed by a doctor. Do not use for longer than seven days without seeking medical advice. This cream is not recommended for children under 12 years of age without a doctor’s supervision. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
