How It Works
Dermol 500 Lotion contains two emollient ingredients — liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate — which form a protective layer on the skin to lock in moisture and reduce dryness. It also contains two antiseptic agents, benzalkonium chloride and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, which help to reduce bacteria on the skin that can trigger flare-ups in conditions like eczema.
⸻
Directions for Use
Dermol 500 Lotion can be used by adults, children, and infants of all ages. As a moisturiser, apply liberally to the affected areas of skin as often as needed. As a soap substitute, apply to wet or dry skin, rinse off thoroughly, and pat dry. When using as a wash in the bath or shower, take care as the lotion can make surfaces slippery. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
