Description
Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel 1.16% – 50g
Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel is a topical anti-inflammatory gel used to relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation in muscles and joints. It is suitable for treating back pain, neck pain, sprains, strains, bruises, and minor sports injuries including those affecting tendons and ligaments.
⸻
How It Works
Voltarol Pain-eze Emulgel contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the production of prostaglandins — chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Unlike cooling or heating products that simply mask discomfort, diclofenac targets the source of pain directly. The unique Emulgel formulation combines a gel and an emulsion, helping the active ingredient to penetrate the skin and reach the affected tissue more effectively.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over: gently massage a small amount of gel (2–4g, roughly the size of a cherry) into the affected area up to 3 times daily. Wash hands after use and avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and broken or inflamed skin. Do not use under airtight dressings. Treatment should not normally exceed 2 weeks without medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
⸻
