Solpadeine Headache Soluble Tablets are an effervescent pain relief medicine used to treat mild to moderate pain, including headaches, migraines, dental pain, period pain, and general aches and pains. They dissolve quickly in water, allowing the medicine to be absorbed rapidly for fast relief.

How It Works

These tablets contain paracetamol and aspirin, which work together to reduce pain signals in the body, and caffeine, which helps to boost the effectiveness of the pain relievers. Paracetamol blocks the production of chemicals called prostaglandins that cause pain and fever, while aspirin also reduces inflammation. Caffeine helps the other ingredients to work more quickly and efficiently.

Directions for Use

Adults and young people aged 16 years and over: dissolve 2 tablets in a glass of water and drink. This can be taken every 4 hours as needed, up to a maximum of 8 tablets (4 doses) in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 16 years of age. Do not take more than the recommended dose. If pain persists for more than 3 days, consult your doctor. Possible Side Effects

• Nausea or stomach upset
• Heartburn or indigestion
• Stomach irritation or discomfort
• Allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching
• Headache from regular overuse of painkillers (medication overuse headache)
• Ringing in the ears (tinnitus) — stop use if this occurs
• Dizziness

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 16 years of age
• People who are allergic to paracetamol, aspirin, caffeine, or any other ingredient in this product
• People with a stomach ulcer or history of gastrointestinal bleeding
• People with haemophilia or other bleeding disorders
• People with severe kidney or liver problems
• Those taking blood-thinning medicines such as warfarin
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding (seek medical advice first)
• People who regularly drink alcohol (more than 3 units per day)

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not store in a bathroom or near a sink. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
