    Description

    Nuromol Dual Action Pain Relief 200mg/500mg Tablets – 24 Tablets (2 x 12 Tablets)

Nuromol Dual Action Pain Relief Tablets contain two active ingredients — ibuprofen and paracetamol — to provide effective relief from mild to moderate pain, including headaches, toothache, period pain, backache, muscular aches, and the symptoms of cold and flu.

    How It Works

Nuromol combines two different pain-relieving ingredients that work in complementary ways. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory medicine that reduces inflammation and blocks pain signals, while paracetamol acts on the brain to reduce the perception of pain. Together, they can provide more effective relief than either ingredient alone.

    Directions for Use

Nuromol is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 18 years and over. The usual dose is one tablet taken three times a day, leaving at least six hours between doses. Do not take more than three tablets in any 24-hour period. Swallow each tablet whole with a glass of water and, if possible, take with or after food to help reduce the chance of stomach upset. Do not take for longer than three days without speaking to a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Active Ingredients

    • Ibuprofen 200mg per tablet
    • Paracetamol 500mg per tablet

    Possible Side Effects

    • Nausea, indigestion, or stomach discomfort
    • Diarrhoea or constipation
    • Headache or dizziness
    • Skin rash or itching
    • Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, or breathing difficulties)
    • Stomach ulcers or bleeding (rare but serious)
If you experience any serious side effects, stop taking this medicine and seek medical advice immediately.

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

    • Children and young people under 18 years of age
    • People who are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol, aspirin, or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
    • People who currently have or have had a stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding
    • Those with severe liver or kidney disease
    • People with heart failure or a history of heart attack or stroke
    • Women who are 20 weeks pregnant or more (unless specifically advised by a doctor)
    • People already taking other medicines containing ibuprofen or paracetamol

    Interactions

Nuromol may interact with a number of medicines, including aspirin and other NSAIDs, blood-thinning medicines (such as warfarin), certain antidepressants (such as SSRIs), blood pressure medicines, steroid tablets, and other products containing paracetamol or ibuprofen. Taking this medicine alongside other paracetamol-containing products could lead to a serious paracetamol overdose. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Nuromol is not recommended during pregnancy, particularly from 20 weeks onwards, as ibuprofen may harm the unborn baby. The use of ibuprofen during the third trimester of pregnancy is contraindicated. Paracetamol is generally considered safer in pregnancy, but this combination product should be avoided unless advised by a doctor. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.

    Alcohol

You should avoid drinking alcohol while taking Nuromol. Combining alcohol with ibuprofen increases the risk of stomach irritation and bleeding, and drinking heavily alongside paracetamol can increase the risk of liver damage. Stick to the recommended dose and avoid alcohol during treatment.

    Driving and Operating Machinery

Nuromol does not typically affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you experience dizziness or any other side effects that impair your concentration or alertness, do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you feel well again.

    Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
