Description
Nurofen Pain Relief 256mg Caplets Ltd) – 16tablet 2 X – 8tablets
Nurofen Pain Relief 256mg Caplets contain ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headaches, dental pain, period pain, backache, rheumatic and muscular pain, and to reduce fever.
⸻
How It Works
Ibuprofen works by blocking the production of chemicals in the body called prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are responsible for causing pain, swelling, and fever, so by reducing their production, ibuprofen helps to relieve discomfort and bring down a high temperature.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and young people aged 12 years and over: Take 2 caplets with water up to three times a day as needed. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not take more than 6 caplets (1,536mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours. Take with or after food to help reduce the chance of stomach upset. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
