    Description

Nurofen for Children Orange 3 months to 12 years 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension – 200ml

Nurofen for Children Orange Oral Suspension is an ibuprofen-based liquid medicine designed to relieve pain and reduce fever in children aged 3 months to 12 years. It is suitable for treating symptoms associated with teething, headaches, sore throats, colds, earache, and fever.

    How It Works

Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins — natural substances in the body that cause pain, swelling, and fever — helping your child feel more comfortable.

    Directions for Use

Use the oral syringe provided to measure the correct dose. Doses are based on the child’s weight and age. As a general guide:

    • 3–6 months (5–7.6 kg): 2.5 ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours
    • 6–12 months (7.7–9 kg): 2.5 ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours
    • 1–3 years (10–15 kg): 5 ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours
    • 4–6 years (16–20 kg): 7.5 ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours
    • 7–9 years (21–28 kg): 10 ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours
    • 10–12 years (29–40 kg): 15 ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours

Leave at least 6–8 hours between doses. Do not give more than 3 doses in 24 hours. Do not use in babies under 3 months. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
