    Description

    Freederm Gel Nicotinamide 4% w/w – 10g

Freederm Gel is a topical acne treatment containing nicotinamide (a form of vitamin B3) at 4% strength. It is used to reduce the redness, inflammation, and spots associated with acne, helping your skin look clearer and healthier.

    How It Works

Nicotinamide works by calming the skin’s inflammatory response, which helps to reduce the redness and swelling around spots. It also helps to regulate sebum (oil) production and has antimicrobial properties that target the bacteria involved in acne, making it effective for mild to moderate acne breakouts.

    Directions for Use

For adults and children aged 12 years and over: wash and dry the affected area thoroughly, then apply a small amount of gel to the affected skin twice daily — once in the morning and once in the evening. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose. Results may take several weeks of regular use to become noticeable. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Interactions

Freederm Gel is applied topically and is not generally associated with significant interactions with other medicines.
