Description
EarCalm Spray – 5ml
EarCalm Spray is a pharmacy medicine used to treat acute otitis externa, commonly known as swimmer’s ear — an infection or inflammation of the outer ear canal. It helps to relieve the discomfort, itching, and irritation associated with this condition.
⸻
How It Works
EarCalm Spray contains acetic acid (2%), which works by restoring the natural acidic environment of the ear canal. This acidic pH helps to prevent bacteria and fungi from growing, reducing infection and soothing irritation in the ear.
⸻
Directions for Use
For adults and children aged 12 years and over, spray into the affected ear once every 2 to 3 hours as needed during the waking day. Gently tilt your head to one side and insert the nozzle into the ear canal before pressing the pump once. Do not use for more than 7 days without seeking medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
⸻
