Doublebase Moisturiser Gel is a highly moisturising emollient gel designed to hydrate, soften and protect dry, chapped and eczema-prone skin. It spreads easily without leaving a greasy residue and can be used on the face and body, including as a soap substitute.

How It Works

Doublebase Gel contains isopropyl myristate and liquid paraffin which work together to form a protective barrier over the skin. This barrier reduces water loss from the skin’s surface, helping to restore moisture levels and relieve the dryness, tightness and itching associated with eczema, dermatitis and other dry skin conditions.

Directions for Use

Apply Doublebase Gel liberally to the affected areas of skin as often as needed. Smooth gently into the skin in the direction of hair growth. It can also be used as a soap substitute — apply to wet skin, rinse off and pat dry. For best results, use regularly throughout the day and after bathing. Possible Side Effects

• Skin irritation or redness at the application site (uncommon)
• Allergic reactions such as rash or itching (rare)

Who Should Not Use This Product

• People with a known allergy to isopropyl myristate, liquid paraffin or any other ingredient in the gel
• Do not apply to broken or infected skin unless directed by a doctor

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Doublebase Gel is generally considered safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding as it is applied to the skin and absorption is minimal. However, if you have any concerns, speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Keep away from heat and flames — this product contains paraffin and is a fire risk if it soaks into fabric such as clothing, bedding or bandages. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
