Doublebase Emollient Shower Gel is a moisturising wash designed for dry, sensitive, or compromised skin. It is suitable for daily use and is particularly helpful for people living with conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis.

How It Works

Doublebase Emollient Shower Gel contains two active ingredients — liquid paraffin and isopropyl myristate — which work together to soften and hydrate the skin. Liquid paraffin forms a protective barrier on the skin’s surface to help lock in moisture and reduce water loss, while isopropyl myristate penetrates the skin to keep it smooth and supple. The formula is fragrance-free and soap-free, making it gentle enough for regular use on sensitive skin.

Directions for Use

Apply Doublebase Emollient Shower Gel to wet skin during a bath or shower. Massage gently into the skin, then rinse off. It can be used as often as required, including for daily washing. It is suitable for adults, children, and the elderly. Be aware that emollient products can make surfaces slippery — take care in the bath or shower. Possible Side Effects

• Skin irritation or redness at the site of application

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

• People with a known allergy to liquid paraffin, isopropyl myristate, or any other ingredient in this product
• Do not use on infected, broken, or severely inflamed skin without first seeking medical advice
• Do not use near open flames or while smoking — paraffin-based emollients are flammable and can soak into fabric, increasing fire risk

Interactions

Doublebase Emollient Shower Gel is applied to the skin and is not known to interact with other medicines. However, using multiple emollient or topical products at the same time may affect how each one works. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
