Description
Doublebase Dayleve Gel – 500gram
Doublebase Dayleve Gel is an emollient (moisturising) gel used to relieve dry, rough, and scaling skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, ichthyosis, and other dry skin disorders. It helps to soothe and rehydrate the skin, reducing itching and discomfort associated with these conditions.
⸻
How It Works
Doublebase Dayleve Gel contains two emollient ingredients — isopropyl myristate and liquid paraffin — that work together to form a protective layer over the surface of the skin. This layer helps lock in moisture, preventing water loss and keeping the skin soft, hydrated, and supple throughout the day. Regular use helps to restore the skin’s natural barrier function.
⸻
Directions for Use
Apply Doublebase Dayleve Gel directly to the affected areas of skin as often as needed, or as directed by your doctor. Smooth the gel gently onto the skin in the direction of hair growth to reduce the risk of blocking hair follicles. It can be used by adults, children, and the elderly. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
⸻

⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Doublebase Dayleve Gel is generally considered suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as the active ingredients are applied to the skin and absorbed into the body in very small amounts. If using on or near the breast area while breastfeeding, ensure the product is removed before feeding. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
