Description
Disprin Direct (Aspirin) – 16 Tablets
Disprin Direct tablets contain aspirin 300 mg and are used to relieve mild to moderate pain, including headaches, migraine, cold and flu symptoms, period pain, toothache, sore throat, and muscular aches. These chewable, dispersible tablets have a pleasant lime flavour, making them a convenient alternative to standard tablets.
⸻
How It Works
Aspirin belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins — natural chemicals in the body that cause pain, swelling, and fever — helping to reduce discomfort and bring down a high temperature.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and young people aged 16 and over: place 2–3 tablets on the tongue and allow to disperse, or dissolve in a glass of water, every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 13 tablets (3,900 mg) in 24 hours. These tablets are not suitable for children under 16 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Aspirin should not be taken during the third trimester of pregnancy as it may harm the unborn baby or cause complications during labour. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
