    Description

    Daktarin (Miconazole) 2% Cream – 30g

Daktarin 2% Cream contains miconazole nitrate and is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, and nappy rash, as well as certain bacterial skin infections.

    How It Works

Miconazole nitrate belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by damaging the outer membrane of the fungal cells, preventing them from surviving and spreading. It also has some antibacterial activity, helping to tackle certain bacteria that may be present alongside a fungal infection.

    Directions for Use

Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area two to four times a day. Gently rub the cream into the skin and the surrounding area. Continue using the cream for at least one week after the symptoms have cleared to prevent the infection from returning. For nappy rash in babies, apply the cream to the affected area at each nappy change. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
