⸻
How It Works
Ibuprofen works by blocking the production of natural chemicals in the body called prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain, swelling, and fever. By reducing prostaglandin production, ibuprofen helps to relieve discomfort and inflammation at the source.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and young people aged 12 years and over: take one 400mg tablet up to three times a day as needed. Leave at least four to six hours between doses. Do not take more than three tablets (1,200mg) in any 24-hour period. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water, and take with or after food to help reduce the chance of stomach upset. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
