    Description

Covonia Sore Throat 0.2%/0.05% Oromucosal Spray Menthol – 30ml

Covonia Sore Throat Spray is an oromucosal spray used to relieve the pain and discomfort of sore throats in adults and children aged 12 and over. It contains two active ingredients — lidocaine hydrochloride and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride — which work together to numb and help protect the throat.

    How It Works

Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic that temporarily numbs the lining of the throat, providing fast relief from pain and irritation. Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride is an antiseptic that helps to reduce bacteria in the mouth and throat, targeting one of the common causes of sore throat discomfort. Together, they provide both symptomatic relief and antibacterial action directly at the site of discomfort.

    Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 12 and over: spray 4 pumps directly into the back of the throat. This may be repeated up to every 3 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses (16 sprays) in 24 hours. This product is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
