    Description

Canesten Bifonazole Once Daily 1% Cream – 20g

Canesten Bifonazole Once Daily 1% Cream is an antifungal cream used to treat fungal skin infections, including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm, and other fungal infections affecting the skin. It contains bifonazole 1%, which helps to clear the infection and relieve symptoms such as itching, redness, and irritation.

    How It Works

Bifonazole belongs to a group of medicines called azole antifungals. It works by disrupting the cell membrane of the fungus, preventing it from growing and reproducing, which ultimately kills the infection. This helps to relieve the uncomfortable symptoms associated with fungal skin infections.

    Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and the surrounding skin once daily, preferably in the evening before bed. Gently rub the cream in and wash your hands after application. Continue treatment for 2–4 weeks depending on the type of infection, even if symptoms improve earlier. For children under 12 years, consult a doctor before use. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
