Bazuka Treatment Gel is a topical treatment used to remove warts, verrucas, corns, and calluses. It contains salicylic acid, which works to gradually break down the hardened skin associated with these conditions.

How It Works

Bazuka Treatment Gel contains salicylic acid, a keratolytic agent that softens and breaks down the tough, thickened skin of warts, verrucas, corns, and calluses. Over time, regular application helps to dissolve the affected skin so it can be gently removed, allowing healthy skin to grow back in its place.

Directions for Use

For adults and children aged 2 years and over. Soak the affected area in warm water for 2–3 minutes, then dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of gel to the wart, verruca, corn, or callus using the applicator, and allow it to dry. Use once daily, ideally at bedtime. Once a week, gently rub away the white film that forms using an emery board or pumice stone. Avoid applying to healthy surrounding skin. Treatment may take up to 12 weeks. Do not use on facial warts, genital warts, or moles. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Possible Side Effects

• Mild skin irritation or redness around the treated area
• Localised stinging or burning sensation on application
• Skin peeling or flaking around the area of treatment
• Temporary discolouration of the treated skin

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 2 years of age
• People with diabetes or poor circulation without medical advice
• Anyone with broken, inflamed, or infected skin in the treatment area
• Those with known sensitivity or allergy to salicylic acid or any other ingredient in the product
• Do not use on facial warts, genital warts, or moles
• Do not use on birthmarks, hairy warts, or warts with black dots (except where these are typical of verrucas)

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep the cap firmly closed when not in use, as the gel may dry out. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
