How It Works
Gaviscon Advance works by forming a thick, gel-like raft on top of the stomach contents shortly after you chew the tablets. This raft acts as a physical barrier that helps to prevent stomach acid from flowing back up into the food pipe, providing fast and effective relief from heartburn and acid reflux symptoms.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over should chew 2 to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times daily. The tablets should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. Gaviscon Advance is not recommended for children under 12 years of age unless advised by a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
