Paracetamol 250mg/5ml Oral Suspension Sugar Free 80ml

Paracetamol 250mg/5ml Oral Suspension Sugar Free is a gentle yet effective liquid medicine designed specifically for children aged 6 years and over. This sugar-free formulation provides reliable relief from pain and fever whilst being kind to developing teeth. The pleasant-tasting liquid makes it easier for children to take their medicine, ensuring they receive the pain relief they need when feeling unwell.

    How It Works

Paracetamol works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that cause pain and fever. By reducing prostaglandin levels in the brain and throughout the body, paracetamol effectively lowers fever and provides relief from mild to moderate pain. Unlike some other pain relievers, paracetamol is gentle on the stomach and is suitable for children when used as directed.

    Directions for Use

Always use the measuring spoon or syringe provided to ensure accurate dosing. Shake the bottle well before use.

Children aged 6-8 years: 5ml (one 5ml spoonful) up to 4 times in 24 hours

Children aged 8-10 years: 7.5ml (one and a half 5ml spoonfuls) up to 4 times in 24 hours

Children aged 10-12 years: 10ml (two 5ml spoonfuls) up to 4 times in 24 hours

Children aged 12-16 years: 15ml (three 5ml spoonfuls) up to 4 times in 24 hours

Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not exceed the stated dose or give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
