    Description

    Xylocaine 10mg Anaesthetic Spray – 50ml

Xylocaine Spray contains lidocaine 10mg per dose, a local anaesthetic that numbs the area it is sprayed on. It is used to numb the skin or lining of the mouth, nose or throat before minor medical or dental procedures. It can also be used to relieve pain from mouth ulcers, sore throats or minor dental procedures.

    How It Works

Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic that works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the area where it is applied. When sprayed onto the skin or mucous membranes, it numbs the area by preventing nerves from sending pain signals to the brain. The numbing effect begins within 1 to 5 minutes and lasts for approximately 15 to 30 minutes.

    Directions for Use

Spray Xylocaine directly onto the area to be numbed. Each spray delivers 10mg of lidocaine. Adults: use 1 to 20 sprays depending on the area and procedure — do not exceed 20 sprays in any 24-hour period. Children: the dose should be reduced in proportion to body weight. Wait 1 to 5 minutes for the numbing effect to take hold. Avoid spraying near the eyes. If you are unsure how to use this product, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
