Description
Viscotears Carbomer 0.2% Eye Gel – 30 Single Unit Dose
Viscotears Carbomer 0.2% Eye Gel is a lubricating eye gel used to relieve the symptoms of dry, sore, or tired eyes. It works as an artificial tear substitute, providing long-lasting moisture and comfort to the surface of the eye.
⸻
How It Works
The active ingredient, carbomer, is a gel-forming polymer that closely mimics the consistency of natural tears. When applied to the eye, it forms a stable, transparent film over the surface, helping to retain moisture and protect the eye from dryness and irritation for longer than standard eye drops.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 2 years and over: apply one drop into the affected eye(s) up to four times daily, or as directed by your doctor. To use a single unit dose, twist off the top, tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid, and squeeze one drop into the eye. Discard the unit dose immediately after use, even if some gel remains. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
