Treathay Fexofenadine 120mg Tablets are a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) in adults and children aged 12 and over. They help ease symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, and itchy, watery, or red eyes.

How It Works

Fexofenadine hydrochloride works by blocking histamine H1 receptors in the body. Histamine is a natural chemical released during an allergic reaction that causes symptoms like sneezing and itching. By blocking histamine from binding to its receptors, fexofenadine reduces these allergic symptoms without causing the drowsiness often associated with older antihistamines.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over should take one 120mg tablet once daily, swallowed whole with water. It is best taken on an empty stomach, as food — particularly fruit juice — may reduce how well the medicine is absorbed. Do not exceed the recommended dose. • Large quantities of fruit juice (particularly grapefruit, apple, or orange juice) may reduce the effectiveness of this medicine — take with water instead
• Some antibiotics (such as erythromycin) and antifungals (such as ketoconazole) may increase fexofenadine levels in the blood

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
