Description
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream – 250g
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream is a trusted, multi-purpose cream used to treat and soothe a range of skin conditions, including nappy rash, eczema, acne, minor burns, sunburn, chilblains, and bed sores. It is suitable for use in babies, children, and adults.
⸻
How It Works
Sudocrem works in several ways to help heal and protect damaged or irritated skin. Its water-repellent base forms a protective barrier over the skin, shielding it from irritants such as urine, stools, and excess moisture. Zinc oxide helps soothe and reduce inflammation, while benzyl alcohol acts as a mild local anaesthetic to relieve discomfort, and benzyl benzoate and benzyl cinnamate assist with healing. The small amount of lanolin in the formula helps to soften and condition the skin.
⸻
Directions for Use
Apply a small amount of Sudocrem to the affected area using gentle, circular movements until the cream has been absorbed, leaving a thin translucent film on the skin. For nappy rash, apply at each nappy change after cleaning and drying the skin thoroughly. For other skin conditions, apply as needed. If a large amount is needed, apply in thin layers rather than a thick coat, as a little goes a long way. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
