Sterimar Stop and Protect Cold & Sinus Relief is a nasal spray designed to help relieve the symptoms of colds and sinus congestion. It uses the natural properties of seawater enriched with copper to help clear blocked nasal passages and support the body’s natural defences against infection.

How It Works

This nasal spray contains isotonic seawater rich in minerals and copper, which has natural antimicrobial properties that help to protect the nasal passages from bacteria and viruses. Eucalyptus oil is also included to help soothe and decongest the nose, making it easier to breathe. Together, these ingredients help to wash away mucus, dust, and germs from the nasal lining, reducing inflammation and discomfort associated with colds and sinus problems.

Directions for Use

Sterimar Stop and Protect is suitable for adults and children aged 3 years and over. For adults and children aged 3 and above, spray 2–3 times into each nostril as needed, up to 6 times per day. Tilt your head slightly forward, insert the nozzle into one nostril, and press the pump firmly while breathing through your mouth. Blow your nose gently after use. Active Ingredients

• Isotonic seawater solution (0.9% sodium chloride) enriched with copper (0.1 mg/L copper sulphate)
• Eucalyptus oil (natural decongestant)
• Hyaluronic acid (to help moisturise and soothe nasal passages)

Possible Side Effects

• Mild stinging or burning sensation in the nose after use
• Temporary increase in nasal discharge
• Sneezing immediately after application
• Rarely, skin or nasal irritation due to sensitivity to any of the ingredients

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

• Children under 3 years of age
• Anyone with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients, including eucalyptus oil
• People with a known allergy to copper or copper-based compounds

Interactions

Sterimar Stop and Protect is a topical nasal spray and is not known to interact with other medicines. It does not contain any pharmacologically active drug substances that are absorbed into the bloodstream in significant amounts. Store at room temperature, below 25°C, and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. Do not freeze the product, as this may affect its quality and the spray mechanism. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
