Regaine For Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam is a clinically proven hair loss treatment containing 5% minoxidil, designed specifically for men experiencing male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia). It is used to help slow further hair loss and stimulate regrowth at the top of the scalp.

How It Works

The active ingredient, minoxidil, works by widening the blood vessels around hair follicles, which helps to increase blood flow and deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the scalp. This encourages hair follicles that have become smaller and less active to re-enter the growth phase, supporting new hair growth and reducing further shedding over time.

Directions for Use

Apply half a capful (approximately 1 g) of foam directly to the affected area of the scalp twice daily — once in the morning and once at night. Massage gently into the scalp and wash your hands thoroughly after application. It may take at least 4 months of consistent use before visible results are noticed, and continued use is necessary to maintain any benefit. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Possible Side Effects

• Scalp irritation, itching, or redness at the application site
• Dry or flaking scalp

• Rapid heartbeat or chest pain (rare — seek medical advice immediately)

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

• Women — this product is formulated for men only
• Anyone under 18 years of age
• Men over 65 years of age (unless directed by a doctor)
• Anyone with known hypersensitivity to minoxidil or any other ingredient in the foam
• Anyone with an itchy, inflamed, infected, or broken scalp
• Anyone with no family history of hair loss or sudden patchy hair loss
• Those with cardiovascular conditions, unless advised by a doctor

Interactions

Regaine Scalp Foam is applied topically, so the risk of systemic drug interactions is low; however, some medications used to lower blood pressure (such as guanethidine) may interact if minoxidil is absorbed through the skin. Other topical scalp products should be used with caution alongside this foam, as they may increase absorption of minoxidil. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Regaine For Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam is not intended for use by women and should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If a woman is accidentally exposed to this product, she should rinse the affected area thoroughly with water. Alcohol

There are no known interactions between Regaine Scalp Foam and alcohol. The foam does contain alcohol (ethanol) as an excipient, which may cause skin irritation at the application site — avoid getting the foam near the eyes or broken skin.

Driving and Operating Machinery

Regaine For Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam is not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. It is applied topically to the scalp and does not generally cause drowsiness or impair alertness.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Keep away from heat and open flames — the foam canister is pressurised and flammable. Do not puncture or incinerate the canister, even when empty. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
