    Description

Perrigo Esomeprazole Heartburn & Acid Reflux Control 20mg – 14 Capsules

Perrigo Esomeprazole 20mg gastro-resistant capsules contain esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to relieve the symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux in adults. This product is suitable for short-term use when you experience frequent heartburn — two or more days a week.

    How It Works

Esomeprazole works by blocking “proton pumps” — tiny structures in the lining of your stomach that produce acid. By reducing the amount of acid your stomach makes, esomeprazole helps relieve the burning sensation and discomfort associated with heartburn and acid reflux. It is not an antacid, so it may take 2–3 days of regular use before you feel the full benefit.

    Directions for Use

Adults aged 18 and over should take one 20mg capsule once daily, swallowed whole with a glass of water, at least one hour before eating. Do not chew or crush the capsule. Use this product for the shortest time needed, and do not take it for more than 14 consecutive days without speaking to a doctor. Always read the product information before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
