Otrivine Allergy Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray – 10ml
Otrivine Allergy Relief 0.1% Nasal Spray is a fast-acting nasal decongestant that helps relieve a blocked or stuffy nose caused by allergies such as hay fever, pet allergies, and dust allergies, as well as colds and sinusitis. It provides targeted relief directly in the nose, helping you breathe more comfortably.
⸻
How It Works
The active ingredient, xylometazoline hydrochloride, belongs to a group of medicines called sympathomimetic decongestants. It works by narrowing the blood vessels inside the lining of your nose, which reduces swelling and congestion, allowing air to pass through more easily. Relief typically begins within minutes and can last for up to 10 hours.
⸻
Directions for Use
This spray is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. The usual dose is 1 spray into each nostril up to 3 times daily. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days without speaking to a doctor, as prolonged use can make congestion worse. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
