Description
Olbas Oil Inhalant Decongestant – 12ml
Olbas Oil Inhalant Decongestant is a blend of essential plant oils used to relieve nasal and bronchial congestion caused by colds, flu, sinusitis, allergies, and hay fever. It can also be applied to the skin to help ease muscular aches and pains.
⸻
How It Works
Olbas Oil contains a combination of essential oils — including eucalyptus, peppermint, and cajuput — that produce a cooling, menthol-like vapour when inhaled. This vapour helps to open up the airways, soothe irritated nasal passages, and make breathing feel easier. When applied to the skin, the oils provide a warming sensation that can help to relieve mild muscular pain.
⸻
Directions for Use
Inhalation from a tissue (adults and children over 12): Place 2–3 drops onto a tissue and inhale as needed.
Steam inhalation (adults and children over 12): Add 2–3 drops to a bowl of hot water. Place a towel over your head and the bowl, and inhale the vapour for up to 10 minutes. Keep your eyes closed during steam inhalation.
Topical use — muscular relief (adults and children over 12): Apply a few drops to the affected area and massage gently into the skin. Do not apply near the face or broken skin.
Children aged 3 months to 12 years: For inhalation from a tissue only — place 2–3 drops onto a tissue near (not directly on or under) the child’s nose. Do not use steam inhalation in children under 12. Do not use in children under 3 months of age.
Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
