    Nytol Herbal – 30 Tablets

Nytol Herbal Tablets are a traditional herbal sleep aid containing three plant-based ingredients — valerian root, hops, and passionflower — that have been used for generations to help promote restful sleep. They provide temporary relief from disturbed or inadequate sleep in adults.

    How It Works

The three herbal ingredients in Nytol Herbal work together to help calm the mind and body before sleep. Valerian root is thought to have a mild sedative effect, hops is traditionally used to ease restlessness, and passionflower is believed to help relieve tension and anxiety that can interfere with sleep. Together, these botanicals support a more natural, relaxed transition into sleep.

    Directions for Use

Adults aged 18 and over should take 2 tablets one hour before bedtime. Nytol Herbal is not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Active Ingredients

    • Valerian root dry extract (equivalent to 135 mg of valerian root) — 45 mg per tablet
    • Hops strobile dry extract (equivalent to 45 mg of hops) — 15 mg per tablet
    • Passionflower dry extract (equivalent to 90 mg of passionflower) — 22.5 mg per tablet

    • Dizziness
    • Stomach upset or nausea
    • Vivid dreams or changes in sleep pattern

    • Children and adolescents under 18 years of age
    • Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding
    • Anyone with a known allergy to valerian, hops, passionflower, or any other ingredient in the tablets
    • Anyone with a known sensitivity to plants in the Valerianaceae or Passifloraceae families

    Interactions

Nytol Herbal may interact with medicines that cause drowsiness, including sedatives, antihistamines, and anti-anxiety medications, potentially increasing their sedative effect. Valerian may also interact with some medicines processed by the liver. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Nytol Herbal is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as the safety of its herbal ingredients in these situations has not been established. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.

    Alcohol

You should avoid drinking alcohol whilst taking Nytol Herbal Tablets. Alcohol can increase the sedative effects of the herbal ingredients, which may cause excessive drowsiness and impair your ability to function safely.

    Driving and Operating Machinery

Nytol Herbal may cause drowsiness or dizziness, which could affect your ability to drive or use machinery. You should not drive or operate machinery after taking these tablets until you know how they affect you. As they are intended to be taken before bedtime, ensure you allow sufficient time for the effects to wear off before the next morning.

    Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
