Nicorette Mouthspray Freshmint Single – 150 Sprays
Nicorette Mouthspray Freshmint is a nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) used to help you stop smoking. It delivers a fine mist of nicotine directly into your mouth to help relieve cravings and withdrawal symptoms when you are trying to quit.
⸻
How It Works
Each spray releases a measured dose of nicotine, which is quickly absorbed through the lining of your mouth and into your bloodstream. This helps to reduce the urge to smoke and eases the uncomfortable feelings that can come with giving up cigarettes, without the harmful chemicals found in tobacco smoke. The freshmint flavour leaves a clean, refreshing taste.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and young people aged 12 and over: Spray 1 to 2 sprays into your mouth when you feel the urge to smoke. Do not use more than 4 sprays per hour or more than 64 sprays in any 24-hour period. Avoid spraying into your eyes or nose, and try not to swallow for a few seconds after spraying. Nicorette Mouthspray is intended to support a programme to help you stop smoking entirely. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

• Those with severe liver or kidney disease (seek medical advice first)
⸻
Interactions
Nicotine replacement therapy has relatively few known drug interactions, but stopping smoking (with or without NRT) may affect how your body processes certain medicines, including theophylline, clozapine, and warfarin, meaning doses may need to be reviewed. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Stopping smoking entirely is the safest option during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are unable to stop without support, NRT is considered preferable to continued smoking, but the decision to use it should be made with medical guidance. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
There are no known interactions between Nicorette Mouthspray and alcohol. However, drinking alcohol may trigger cravings to smoke in some people, so it is worth being mindful of this whilst using the spray as part of your quit programme.
⸻
Driving and Operating Machinery
Nicorette Mouthspray is not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, dizziness has been reported as a possible side effect; if you feel dizzy after use, avoid driving or operating machinery until you feel well again.
⸻
Storage
Store below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not freeze. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
