Lemsip Cold & Flu Lemon Oral Powder Sachets are a hot lemon drink used to relieve the symptoms of cold and flu, including fever, headache, sore throat, aches and pains, and nasal congestion.

How It Works

Each sachet contains paracetamol, which reduces fever and relieves pain, and phenylephrine hydrochloride, a decongestant that helps to clear a blocked nose by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Together, these ingredients help you feel more comfortable while your body fights off the cold or flu virus.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: empty one sachet into a mug and add hot (not boiling) water, then stir well. One sachet may be taken every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 4 sachets in any 24-hour period. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Possible Side Effects

• Allergic reactions such as skin rash or itching
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Increased blood pressure or heart rate
• Difficulty sleeping
• Dizziness or headache
• Rarely, serious skin reactions (stop use immediately if a rash develops)

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 12 years of age
• People who are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, or any other ingredient in this product
• People taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have taken them in the last 14 days
• People with severe high blood pressure or severe heart disease
• People with an overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism)
• People already taking other paracetamol-containing products
• People taking other decongestants or medicines for cold and flu symptoms

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
