Histallay 120mg Tablets contain fexofenadine, a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, and skin reactions like hives (urticaria).

How It Works

Fexofenadine works by blocking histamine H1 receptors in the body. Histamine is a natural chemical released during an allergic reaction that causes symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and a runny nose. By blocking histamine, fexofenadine helps reduce these symptoms without causing significant drowsiness, making it suitable for use during the day.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: take one 120mg tablet once daily, swallowed whole with water. Do not take with fruit juices such as grapefruit, orange, or apple juice, as these may reduce the absorption of the medicine. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Possible Side Effects

• Headache

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 12 years of age
• People with a known allergy to fexofenadine or any other ingredient in the tablet

• People taking certain medicines such as antacids containing aluminium or magnesium (allow at least 2 hours between doses)

Storage

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original packaging to protect from light. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
