How It Works

Germolene Antiseptic Cream contains chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, which kills bacteria on the skin to help prevent infection in minor wounds. Phenol acts as a mild local anaesthetic, numbing the affected area to provide temporary pain relief. Together, these ingredients help protect the wound and ease discomfort during the healing process.

Directions for Use

Clean the affected area thoroughly, then apply a small amount of Germolene Antiseptic Cream directly to the wound or skin. Use 2 to 3 times daily, or as needed. The cream is suitable for adults and children. Avoid applying to large areas of skin or leaving under airtight dressings for prolonged periods. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Possible Side Effects

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

• Not recommended for use inside the mouth or on genital areas

Germolene Antiseptic Cream is applied topically to the skin and is not known to have significant interactions with other medicines when used as directed. However, avoid using alongside other topical products on the same area of skin without seeking advice first.
