E45 Dermatological Cream is a trusted, gentle moisturiser used to relieve and soothe dry, itchy, flaky, chapped, rough, and calloused skin, as well as sunburn. It is suitable for the whole family, including babies, and is specially formulated for sensitive skin.

How It Works

E45 Cream contains emollient ingredients — white soft paraffin, light liquid paraffin, and anhydrous lanolin — that work together to form a protective layer on the surface of the skin. This barrier helps lock in the skin’s natural moisture and prevents further water loss, keeping skin soft, hydrated, and comfortable.

Directions for Use

Apply E45 Cream to the affected area of skin as often as needed, smoothing it in gently. It can be used on the face, hands, and body, and is safe for regular, long-term use. Possible Side Effects

E45 Cream is generally very well tolerated. However, some people may experience:
• Skin irritation or redness at the site of application
• Allergic skin reactions, such as a rash or itching
• Sensitivity reactions to lanolin (wool fat) in rare cases
• Folliculitis (inflammation of hair follicles) with prolonged heavy use

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

• People who are allergic to white soft paraffin, light liquid paraffin, anhydrous lanolin, or any other ingredient in the cream
• People with a known sensitivity or allergy to wool fat (lanolin)
• Do not apply to broken, infected, or heavily inflamed skin without first seeking medical advice

Interactions

E45 Cream is applied to the skin and is not known to interact with other medicines when used as directed. However, as with all emollient products, it is advisable to avoid applying other topical preparations to exactly the same area at the same time without guidance. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

E45 Cream is generally considered suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as it is applied to the skin and is not absorbed into the bloodstream in significant amounts. If using on the breast or nipple area while breastfeeding, ensure the cream is removed before feeding your baby. Storage

Store E45 Dermatological Cream below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
