Dioralyte Relief Raspberry – 6 sachets

Dioralyte Relief Raspberry is an oral rehydration therapy used to replace fluids, salts, and energy lost due to diarrhoea and vomiting. It helps to prevent and treat dehydration caused by acute diarrhoea in adults and children.

    How It Works

Dioralyte Relief contains a carefully balanced mixture of salts (electrolytes), glucose, and rice powder, which work together to help your body absorb water more effectively from the gut. The rice starch also helps to reduce the frequency and volume of loose stools, making it particularly helpful during acute diarrhoea. This combination restores the body’s natural fluid and electrolyte balance quickly and safely.

    Directions for Use

Each sachet should be dissolved in 200 ml of fresh drinking water (not fruit juice or milk) and taken immediately after preparation. For adults and children over 12 years: take 1–2 sachets after each loose bowel motion. For children aged 3–12 years: give 1 sachet after each loose bowel motion. For infants under 3 years: use only under medical supervision. Continue to take until diarrhoea stops. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Interactions

Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Dioralyte Relief is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as it works to restore essential fluids and electrolytes. However, it is always important to seek guidance before self-treating during pregnancy. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.

    Alcohol

There is no known interaction between Dioralyte Relief and alcohol. However, alcohol can worsen dehydration and may aggravate diarrhoea symptoms, so it is advisable to avoid alcohol while you are unwell and using this product.

    Driving and Operating Machinery

Dioralyte Relief does not contain any ingredients known to cause drowsiness or affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you are feeling unwell due to diarrhoea or vomiting, it is advisable to rest and avoid driving until you feel better.
