Colgate FluoriGard 0.05% Daily Dental Rinse is a fluoride mouthwash designed to help protect teeth against tooth decay and cavities. It is suitable for daily use as part of a regular oral hygiene routine.

How It Works

This rinse contains sodium fluoride, which works by strengthening tooth enamel — the hard outer layer of your teeth. Fluoride helps to remineralise areas of enamel that have been weakened by acid from food and bacteria, making teeth more resistant to decay over time.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 6 years and over: rinse with 10 ml (two teaspoonfuls) once daily after brushing your teeth. Swish the rinse around your mouth for one minute, then spit it out. Do not swallow. Do not eat, drink, or rinse your mouth with water for 30 minutes after use. This product is not suitable for children under 6 years of age. Possible Side Effects

• Temporary tooth staining or discolouration with prolonged use
• Mild irritation or tingling in the mouth
• Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions (e.g. rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing — seek immediate medical attention if this occurs)
• Dental fluorosis (white spots or streaks on teeth) if swallowed regularly, particularly in children

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 6 years of age
• People who are allergic to sodium fluoride or any other ingredient in this product
• People who are already receiving fluoride supplementation from another source (seek advice before use)
• Anyone who cannot be relied upon to spit out the rinse and not swallow it

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap tightly closed when not in use. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
