Description
Chlorphenamine 2mg/5ml Oral Solution Sugar Free 150ml (Brand May Vary)
Chlorphenamine Oral Solution is a sugar-free antihistamine medicine used to provide effective relief from allergy symptoms. This liquid formulation is particularly suitable for children and adults who have difficulty swallowing tablets, offering fast-acting relief from hay fever, skin allergies, and other allergic reactions. The sugar-free formula makes it suitable for diabetics and helps protect dental health.
How It Works
Chlorphenamine belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. When you come into contact with something you’re allergic to (such as pollen, dust mites, or pet dander), your body releases a substance called histamine. This histamine causes the uncomfortable symptoms of allergic reactions, including sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin rashes. Chlorphenamine works by blocking the action of histamine, thereby reducing these allergy symptoms and providing relief.
