Benadryl 10 mg One a Day – 7 Tablets
Benadryl 10 mg One a Day tablets are a non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever and other allergies, such as sneezing, a runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin reactions. Each pack contains 7 tablets, providing a week’s worth of once-daily allergy relief.

How It Works
The active ingredient, cetirizine hydrochloride, is a second-generation antihistamine. It works by blocking histamine receptors in the body — histamine is the chemical your immune system releases during an allergic reaction that causes symptoms like itching, sneezing, and a runny nose. By blocking histamine, cetirizine helps to reduce and prevent these symptoms without causing significant drowsiness in most people.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over should take one 10 mg tablet once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours. This medicine is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

Cetirizine may interact with other medicines that cause drowsiness, including certain sedatives, sleeping tablets, anxiety medicines, and some antidepressants, potentially increasing the risk of tiredness. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
The safety of cetirizine during pregnancy has not been fully established, and it is not recommended for use during pregnancy unless considered essential by a doctor. Cetirizine passes into breast milk and is not recommended while breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
Although cetirizine is considered non-drowsy for most people, drinking alcohol alongside this medicine may increase the risk of drowsiness or dizziness. It is advisable to avoid or limit alcohol while taking Benadryl 10 mg One a Day tablets.
⸻
