Description
Bazuka Gel – 5gram
Bazuka Gel is a topical treatment used to remove common warts, plantar warts (verrucas), corns, and calluses. It contains salicylic acid, which works to soften and break down the hardened skin associated with these conditions.
⸻
How It Works
Bazuka Gel contains salicylic acid, a keratolytic agent that works by softening the tough, hardened skin of warts, verrucas, corns, and calluses. This helps the thickened skin to gradually peel away, allowing the treated area to heal over time. Regular, consistent application is key to achieving the best results.
⸻
Directions for Use
Bazuka Gel is suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and over. Soak the affected area in warm water for 2–3 minutes, then dry thoroughly. Apply a thin coat of the gel to the wart, verruca, corn, or callus and allow it to dry. Repeat this process once daily. After several applications, gently rub away the dead skin with an emery board or pumice stone. Treatment may be needed for up to 3 months. Do not apply to facial skin, anogenital warts, or broken or inflamed skin. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
⸻

Interactions
Bazuka Gel is applied to the skin and is not known to interact significantly with other medicines when used as directed. However, avoid using other topical skin treatments on the same area at the same time unless advised by a healthcare professional. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
The safety of Bazuka Gel during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully established. As salicylic acid is applied topically to a small area, systemic absorption is expected to be minimal; however, caution is advised. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
There is no known interaction between Bazuka Gel and alcohol. The gel is applied to the skin and is not taken internally, so alcohol consumption is not expected to affect how this medicine works.
⸻
Driving and Operating Machinery
Bazuka Gel is a topical treatment applied to the skin and does not cause drowsiness or affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. It is safe to drive and use machinery as normal whilst using this product.
⸻
Storage
Store Bazuka Gel below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight. Keep the cap tightly closed after use, as the gel contains alcohol and can dry out if left open. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
