This might include referring you to another specialist, issuing prescriptions for antibiotics or antivirals, or advising you on over-the-counter treatments that could help.

Can I get antibiotics from Pharmacy First?
Yes, if your PillSorted pharmacist decides it is clinically appropriate to prescribe you antibiotics and antivirals, they can do so.
Is the Pharmacy First service free?
Yes, the Pharmacy First service is fee. Your PillSorted pharmacist will give you free advice and any prescription recommended will also be free if you do not normally pay for NHS prescription charges. You will have to pay for any additional over-the-counter medication but with PillSorted, the delivery of that medicine to your home, together with your NHS prescription, is free.
What are the benefits of Pharmacy First?
Pharmacy first is designed to save time in treating common conditions, as it is usually quicker and more convenient for you to contact a pharmacist than to wait for an appointment with your GP. Also, Pharmacy First could free up to 10 million GP appointments per year, making it easier for you to get an earlier appointment with your GP for more serious conditions.
