Scholl Verruca Removal System contains 40% salicylic acid medicated plasters designed to treat verrucas (plantar warts) on the feet. The kit includes 15 medicated plasters and 15 cushioning pads to help protect the affected area during treatment.

How It Works

The active ingredient, salicylic acid, works by softening and gradually breaking down the hardened, thickened skin that makes up the verruca. This allows the treated tissue to be gently removed over time, helping to clear the verruca with regular use. The cushioning pads help to relieve pressure and discomfort around the affected area while treatment takes place.

Directions for Use

This product is intended for adults and children aged 12 years and over. Before applying, soak the affected foot in warm water for 2–3 minutes, then dry thoroughly. Apply one medicated plaster directly over the verruca and leave in place for up to 48 hours. After removing the plaster, gently file away the softened skin using an emery board or pumice stone, then repeat the process. Continue treatment for up to 12 weeks or until the verruca has cleared. Use the cushioning pads as needed between treatments to relieve pressure. Do not use on facial or genital warts. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Who Should Not Use This Product

• Children under 12 years of age
• People with diabetes or poor circulation — seek medical advice before use
• People with fragile or sensitive skin
• Do not apply to moles, birthmarks, warts with hairs growing from them, or genital warts
• Do not use on irritated, infected, or broken skin
• Do not use if you have a known allergy to salicylic acid or any other ingredient in this product

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
