Description
Viagra Connect 50mg – 8 Tablets
Viagra Connect 50mg contains sildenafil, a clinically proven treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. It helps you get and keep an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse when you are sexually aroused.
⸻
How It Works
Sildenafil belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. When you are sexually stimulated, sildenafil relaxes the blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to flow in and produce an erection. It only works in response to sexual arousal — it will not cause an erection on its own.
⸻
Directions for Use
The recommended dose for adult men aged 18 to 64 is one 50mg tablet taken approximately one hour before sexual activity. You should not take more than one tablet in any 24-hour period. Viagra Connect is not intended for use in men aged 65 or over without first speaking to a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

Interactions
Viagra Connect can interact with several medicines, including nitrates (used for chest pain), alpha-blockers (used for high blood pressure or prostate problems), ritonavir and other HIV medicines, certain antibiotics such as erythromycin, and other treatments for erectile dysfunction. Grapefruit juice may also increase the levels of sildenafil in your blood and should be avoided. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Viagra Connect is intended for use in adult men only and is not suitable for women. It is therefore not relevant to pregnancy or breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
Drinking alcohol can temporarily impair the ability to get an erection and may reduce the effectiveness of Viagra Connect. Both alcohol and sildenafil can lower blood pressure, and taking them together may increase the risk of dizziness or feeling faint. It is advisable to avoid excessive alcohol consumption when taking this medicine.
⸻
Driving and Operating Machinery
Sildenafil can cause dizziness and may affect your vision, including blurring or changes in colour perception. If you experience any of these effects, do not drive or operate heavy machinery. You should wait until you know how this medicine affects you before driving or performing tasks that require full alertness and clear vision.
⸻
Storage
Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the tablets in their original packaging until ready to use. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
